To all those who have missed Kratos’ angry fists, the creators of God of War has finally declared a sequel for the successful game. The sequel will be called, God of War: Ghost of Sparta. This is the official announcement from the makers of the game:

PSP

“[T]his new adventure will serve as a prequel of sorts, picking up where God of War left off. Ghost of Sparta tells the story of Kratos’ ascension to power as the God of War. In his quest to rid the nightmares that haunt him, Kratos must face his dark past to prove his worthiness to the Gods — a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds and finally answer long-awaited questions about Kratos’ tattoo, scar, and family.”

The sequel sounds thrilling and jam-packed. With the release of the game’s screen caps, many were in awe because of the game’s resolution for a portable game console. Even players of the first God of War episode felt the excitement rush through especially with the amazing graphics the makers did with the sequel. The teasers really worked because the game looked great from the screen captures alone.

Even the story line and plot is looking good. With the nightmares and all and the drama of finding and fighting out his fears, it will really be a game that would attach both the heart and mind with its adventure style. I really wish that the story plot would stick out. Games with awesome story plots make it more exciting.

The theme of the game’s locations is another thing I’m jumping about. There are just too many elements to like about the screen caps and the official statement. Hopefully, they release it soon while the memories of the first God of War game still exist. This new chapter would definitely be worth buying.

They should definitely live up to their statement and screen captures. I am not looking forward to be disappointed with this new chapter game, especially with all the goodies they already revealed now.
